Weddings
They say your wedding day is a Big Day for a reason. Not only it is a very important milestone in Your life, but is is kinda of a big deal per se. A lot of dreaming, planning, budgeting, anxiety, search for perfection usually goes on before the d-day. If you are a big event person, or someone who wants a smaller and intimate cerimony, you know you’ll want to remember everything that happened and all the feelings you felt.
Choosing the right wedding photographer is such a crucial point, since photos are one of the few things that stay with you forever after the wedding. Did you think about that? Flowers, food, the amazing car you rented, the party, the location won’t be there with you after the wedding. Photos will.
Hi, i’m Michela, owner of moment Framer. I’m italian (born, raised and always lived in Italy), weddings are a big deal here, a lot of people decide to have religious weddings in churches they grew up in, and i promise you: a lot of them are not easy! Dark and narrow, horrible lighting, ancient and with tiny windows… But they are full of memories and tradition, and they are such a central part of the whole day for couples.
The job of a wedding photographer is to give the best result even in difficult situations, and i promise you, some italian churches are really challenging (plus, you can’t tell the priest to do the ring excange again because you were not ready, so you need to be ready all the time).
I can safely say, thanks to this “bootcamp” i’m prepared to take on any challenge you’d might throw at me!
I have more than 10 years experience in shooting weddings, and i can tell you: all of my brides and grooms were so afraid to be “victims” of the photographer during the event. Seriously, some of them were scarred badly by being guests at a friend’s wedding with a demanding and invasive photographer, it seemd like they had ptsd about it. I don’t do that. I’m like a ninja, sometimes brides ask me when did i take a certain photo because they didn’t notice i was right besides them. I’m really proud of myself when this happens!
My photograhy style is reportage which means i don’t ask you to do anything, i don’t shout, i don’t stand in the middle and block the view for your relatives while you excange your wows, i don’t blind you with strong lights and flashes. My job is to be there, alongside you, and capture every emotion and gesture spontaneosly. I’m not the protagonist, you are.
Also. if you decide to hire me, I won’t publish your photos online, unless you authorize me to.
Below you can view some of the photos i took in the past. I take great pride in securing my clients privacy, so you’ll se no recognisable faces here.
If you want to see photos with faces, contact me and i’l send you a temporary access to a password protected gallery.Â
My service is “all you can shoot”, which means i don’t have a maximum number of photos i can take, or time to stay with you. I start with the preparation (if that’s what my clients want) and end when you tell me to go. Really, i’m used to shooting for 12 hours straight, no problem. Of course i’ll ask you to feed me at some point, but i’m trained to be present for all the time you need me.
I always bring a second photographer with me, not an assistant, but someone who is a wedding photographer too, so you can be sure that if something happens to me, there’s always going to be someone else capable to do the full day of photos too.
I will send you some previews of the photos a few days after, and the full set of photos in 30 / 60 days from the day of the wedding. Photos will be in high resolution, so you can print them yourself, or i can assist you with prints and the album too if you need help.
I’m perfect for your wedding in Italy: i know the territory and the challenges of it, i speak english and i have a lot of experience about how italian weddings are usually take place. We can work out a solution for weddings abroad, let’s talk about it!
